“Brahma Shrine – Tourism Promotion Project in Collaboration with Government Sector”

This project was developed in collaboration with a government agency as part of a tourism promotion initiative. The design centers around the Brahma Shrine and focuses on enhancing the surrounding context to create a distinctive identity and draw in more visitors.

The design concept is inspired by a well-known symbol of Singburi province — the snakehead fish (Pla Chon). To reflect this local identity while appealing to contemporary visitors who are drawn to visually striking, shareable destinations (what we call the “Instagrammable” factor), we proposed the installation of a sculptural landmark.

After consultation and discussion, the executive committee approved the concept of using a fish trap (“sum jab pla”) as the main sculptural element. This unique form not only represents local heritage but also functions as a visual focal point, drawing people in to visit, explore, and photograph the site.

“Space is empty in some contexts,

but never truly empty in others.

The architect does not design the void,

but weaves a single thread into the intricate waves of life’s unfolding story.”
