“Shade – Our Second Design Competition and an Award-Winning Project ”

Shade was the second design competition our team participated in, and it became a major milestone as we won first prize among more than 200 competing teams.

The competition, MTD 2022, called for innovative designs of knockdown houses with a maximum area of 100 square meters, under the concept of “Functional Elegance.”

Our team approached the challenge by reimagining the typical perception of a knockdown house. We focused on designing a compact home that maximizes spatial efficiency without compromising on aesthetics or functionality.

The result is a design that merges smart spatial planning with elegant simplicity, offering a new perspective on what small-scale, prefabricated housing can be.
