Design Concept: Reinterpreting Classical Architecture in a Contemporary Context

This project was designed under the concept of reimagining the essence of the "archetypal luxury home" through a reinterpretation of classical architecture. The approach aims to deconstruct and reconstruct traditional forms, creating a timeless yet contemporary design that respects the elegance and intricacy of the original classical style.

The main inspiration for the building facade comes from the Corinthian column, considered the most ornate and refined of the classical orders in Greco-Roman architecture. With its intricate detailing and graceful proportions, the Corinthian order serves as the basis for establishing rhythm, balance, and ornamental richness throughout the architectural composition—evoking a sense of luxury and grandeur.

A key feature of the project is the swimming pool, inspired by ancient bathhouses. Designed as a central visual anchor, the pool can be viewed from various parts of the house, offering a strong visual axis and reinforcing the sense of openness and dignity within the home.

The overall design philosophy emphasizes a seamless integration of classical elements with modern materials and construction techniques. This combination results in a refined architectural expression that is both aesthetically enduring and functionally suited to contemporary living.
