Design Concept: “Sustain and Equality – A Home of Lasting Equity”

This residential project was designed under the concept of “Sustain and Equality”, with a focus on both energy efficiency and universal accessibility. The aim is to create a home that supports comfortable living for people of all ages and physical conditions, emphasizing inclusivity without compromising on aesthetics or functionality.

The architectural design and material selection were carefully considered to minimize energy consumption—through the use of natural light, effective ventilation, and passive cooling strategies. At the heart of the home is a central green courtyard, which acts as the home’s “lungs,” enhancing airflow and promoting thermal comfort throughout the surrounding spaces.

Functionally, the house is designed with a “multi-level accessibility” approach. Every part of the home—from the lowest to the highest levels—can be accessed easily and safely. Ramps, thoughtful spatial layouts, and human-centered proportions ensure that all users can interact with the space equally, regardless of ability.

This home is not just a place to live—it is a space of empathy and inclusion, where sustainability, livability, and equality are seamlessly integrated into everyday life.
