Renovation and Extension Project of PTT Gas Station, Sing Buri (Asian Highway Branch), 2024
Scope: Retail Zone, Restaurant Area, and Surrounding Landscape Improvements

This project focuses on the renovation and extension of an existing PTT gas station located along the Asian Highway in Sing Buri. The client’s objective was to revamp the outdated appearance of the station and enhance its visual appeal, while also addressing practical issues such as heat and excessive sunlight affecting the retail and dining zones.

The design solution includes an extended shading structure that continues seamlessly from the original roofline. This addition helps to reduce heat and sunlight exposure on the surrounding hardscape, creating a cooler and more comfortable environment for both customers and staff.

Existing pedestrian walkways and outdoor areas were redesigned to appear more inviting and dynamic, using updated paving materials and thoughtful layout adjustments. In addition, selected portions of the building façade were upgraded with new surface materials to create visual contrast and highlight key architectural elements, giving the station a fresh and modern character.

Rather than a simple refurbishment, this project represents a strategic transformation—turning a conventional service station into a more memorable, user-friendly space that balances functionality, comfort, and contemporary design.
